Growing with a Creative Team
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Rock Church, I felt right at home. I jumped in with the creative team for two years, initially covering for a maternity leave, and was kept on becouse of the great work I did. Collaborating closely with the Creative, Visual, and Art Directors, I played a key role in redefining and implementing an evolved brand identity, and ensuring across all platforms.
The work environemnt was fast-paced, high-output, and a lot of fun. I juggeld multiple projects every day. Meeting tight weekly deadlines while refining processes was the norm. Several times we built the plane as we were flying it. While adapting quickly to shifting priorities, I helped maintain our team's momentum by pushing projects across finish lines.
I moved the organization forward on multiple fronts, including:
• Internal brand development & brand guidelines
• Custom Illustration & apparel design
• Multi-channel campaigns & presentationsn
• Series packages & campaign assets
Delivering Quality at Scale, while having Fun
Beyond execution, I championed ideas and processes to help us run more efficiently team, for example using Working Genius assessment tools or finding ways to use AI to speed up our production. While on the team, I grew and learned from other designers, as we sharpened one another's skills in Adobe, Figma, and emerging design tools. This experience reinforced my ability to be a humble and hungry team player, help me focus how I contribute to a team, and taught me to deliver quality at scale. These are skills I’m eager to bring to the next team I have the privilege to be on.
